I was very pleased to visit Life Cycle UK recently helping prisoners in HMP Bristol gain mechanics skills and qualifications in bike maintenance. BIKE BACK is an excellent project to equip prisoners for employment on release and to help them gain confidence and a positive purpose.
Enabling prisoners to find employment on release is vitally important to preventing reoffending, this is one of a number of projects in Avon and Somerset aiming to support ex-offenders.
